We have so enjoyed the white lights that have a brought a holiday charm to our streets in Addison Circle. This being our first Christmas in the circle, we volunteered to take to pictures at the annual Addison Circle Christmas Tree lighting.
I am so glad we did! Frost Bank, AT&T and Post Addison Circle put on a very festive tree lighting, complete with a kids choir, Mr. and Mrs. Clause arriving on Fire Truck, vendors, activities and more. It was also nice to see our Addison Mayor Todd Meier there rallying the kids together to ceremoniously turn on the tree.
I was also very thankful for Mucky Duck’s $1 spiked ciders, a perfect and delicious treat in the cold weather!
We really love convenience and quaintness of living in the circle. I am already start to see familiar faces and dogs at the events, and feel blessed to be able to capture some great memories in pictures and film for them :).
Here is a little video I made of the actual lighting (song by Sufjan Stevens, Put the Lights on the Tree), along with some of our favorite pictures.
